Cancellation & Transfer Policy

Melanin Locs maintains a stringent refund policy for all its classes. Unfortunately, untimely requests for cancellations and/or transfers cannot be reconciled. With limited class size, vacating a seat too close to the official course start date makes it impossible to fill it with another trainee. If the course is cancelled by Melanin Locs, a full refund is available. This does not include cancellations due to acts of God or other natural disasters for which Melanin Locs is not responsible. 
 

Cancellation Policy for courses

  • Cancellations: 

    • Cancellations will NOT be accepted less than 60 days from the course start date.  

  • No-Show Fee:

    • If you fail to show up for class, you can reschedule for another course date with a fee of $300. Rescheduling options are limited and NOT guaranteed. 


Transfer Policy for courses

  • A request for transfer must be made 30 days prior to the start of a course

  • Transfers are not guaranteed but are contingent upon availability. If available, a $200 transfer fee must be paid.

Dismissal from class for privacy concerns

  • Melanin Locs require all trainees to adhere to our guidelines designed to protect our Trademark/Copyrighted information. Non-compliance with our guidelines may result in the trainee being asked to leave. In this event, NO RESCHDULE OPTION WILL BE ALLOWED.
